Cheers Jasper, what it was was when I had my frame/swingarm powdercoated they forgot to cover the holes for the pinch bolts and I need to clean them out.
Thanks anyway

Sorry Dave, Haven't got a tap that size bit rare as ISO standard is M12 with a 1.75mm pitch, metric fine is with a 1.5mm pitch so 1.25mm is ultra fine pitch. Possibly the same as some spark plugs, maybe worth checking to see if a plug thread chasing tool will do the job.

Or make a tap with anbolt the same thread, cut some longitudional slots in the thread, to cut the paint away. Have got out of trouble by this method myself in the past.

checked and 12mm X 1.25mm pitch is the same as some spark plugs, but you would have to do it from the underside i suspect

Seeley do a tool
