Hrmm ...

Don't know if it's Jon's place to say really - if I was one of those people then I certainly wouldn't someone else broadcasting to the world on the web that I'd put my name down for a 50,000 euro bike!

I know of a few

I also know someone trying to get on the list

Personally, I'd love one ... but I'll wait until the less exotic road version comes out and buy one of them instead!

I don't think they'll be a cheap version to be honest, I could be wrong but servicing alone will rule out any future mass sales, but if from the other thread Ducati want to make more high end bikes rather than cheap models...

"On June the 1st at Mugello there will be the D16 RR unveil!"

Should keep interest in our favourite brand a bit higher for a while.

I think there will, but only a preium priced version, around the same as a 999R or maybe more.

Selling a couple of hundred "special" bikes at £35K is one thing, but they could surely sell a whole load more of a detuned, mass produced version at £18K ?
