Noise Output
Sposed to go to Castle Coombe tomorrow, they have strict noise regs usually but as its privately hired, the limit for tomorrow is 105DbA, measured at 3/4 revs from 0.5 metres away....

Do I have a hope in hell of getting the bike thru the checks?

you should.......i understand all the 916/996/998 range were 105 with termi's. but under new homologation rules the new 749/999 are now just 102.

...are you sure Tim? 105 is friggin loud. I've been checked before with my race Micron on the CB500 and it was 103 I think. Don't know how it compares.

Is it a one off check or random/constant throughout the day.
