You might have to go for a carbed ducati - don't think you can restrict the FI ones.

In which case go for a 900 SL

My vote goes to a 800 Monster Dark. Excellent riding position/visibility, not outrageously fast, good hooligan potential and a very under-stressed motor. A mint low-mileage one on autotrader should set you back no more than £5k, keep it garaged and the insurance could be manageable.

Or you could bet the £6k on the 3.30pm at Goodwood, and spend the winnings on 999R....

Good luck,

Ali

I doubt very much whether you'll get any insurance for a superbike at your age.You might want to check a few insurance companies before committing to anything. That said, theres bound to be something for you---er, monsters?,ss's?.
Depend what you want-faired or unfaired?,If your a new rider you wont want something too quirky.(monster again?)
And if your determined to get a ducati,I'd stash away some of your budget to properly service it as they're bikes you neglect at your peril.

Completely forgot you need to have restrictions. Make that a 750 Monster.

You don't want a Superlight. They're nonsense. Not enough of em around. They're the sort of bike that should be left in carefully humidity-controlled garages for the next 20 years, and then sold to me for peanuts when mine wears out!

But if it was me, I'd go for the limited edition 620 Capirex...
