1000 Ss
Mate of mine has a 53 reg 1000 twin spark SS, that has suffered an ECU failure. From Ducati a new ECU is a bit ouch.

Has anyone got a 2nd hand one with the 3 keys and the clocks that they would sell?

There is a performance one for a 100 Sport Classic on ebay, anyone know if that is compatable?

Chris

There is a company that might be able to sort it for a lot less than the cost of replacements. I think Martin (Hollywood) had his done after a crash in DD?

Ant,

Gave the guy a call and unfortunately he hasn't got all of the necessary equipment to do these ECUs. However he has put me onto a company in Kent, 10 miles from me, that I have spoken to and they can repair them no problem SUPPOSIDLY!

Will take it in on Friday, collect next week and make sure I pay with a credit card, in case we get a quick failure!

Assuming all is ok, then will put something up on the board afterwards. He claims that he can program a new or 2nd hand ECU to an owners clocks, could be usefull to DD racers.

I'd be interested in what they can do with the 5.9M ECU you never know when you may need them yourself

This lot www.hypertrick.se can override the immobiliser and do a few other things such as change the rev limiter

Shame I didn't know about them last year Kev-I would have got them to move the limiter on Sparky-bit late now though.
