I know my route seems to be mad as a hatter and you are not the first person to mention about the suspension

. My first thought was to run a linkage style swing arm or even keep with the original single sided swing arm due to my existing wheels from my other bike.
BUT I like the look of the 900ss alloy style swing arm it has clean smooth lines, doesn’t look cluttered and I was happy on a track day with a Race tuned 944ss a couple of years ago. If it doesn’t work I’ll weld all the parts back on and put a linkage style swing arm back in.
I currently have an Ohlins rear shock on my 748 race bike that I plan to use on the new bike but I do not want to take this off as I’m getting this bike ready for the track day in Portugal in Feb. I have the Ducati measuring tool so I have a Datum. But I need to make sure the shock is not hitting the side of the frame otherwise I need a remote reservoir type and they come in different lengths. I currently have a 900ssie shock but these are not so common so I need to base the length on the 305mm length.
The engine has come out a race bike that was run in Hottrax series it’s running HC Pistal pistons, polish & lightened crank and a power commander and was build by Neil at cornerspeed. However I would be interesting to talk to someone who may have played with different systems.

To get the rear ride height correct you want to use the tool that plugs into the frame so you can take a measurement to the centre of the rear spindle Looks like there will be a bit of work to do with the fueling As I see a DS engine, early 270cc/min injectors and a Non Linear TPS |
