Carbon fibre.......how good?
Along with the latest Pronto, there was a sheet from a carbon fibre company(i don't have my copy with me,so i can't remember the name).

I'm interested in having a set of cambelt covers for my 998S,the bike is littered with carbon already but it's all DP kit.DP don't make the cambelt covers so i'm having to look elsewhere!!

Has anybody bought anything from the aforementioned company,if so,how does it compare to DP kit for fit/quality?

think its Streamline - got a couple of bits from them and found they fitted well and are good quality - certainly as good as my DP hugger.

Guys at CMW have a European supplier for non-DP parts as well as the "good" stuff if you wanna try them, believe it's decent quality kit too.

You know...the people at Churchill must be really brassed off that they spent loads of money on getting Thora Hird to advertise their products for old codgers - before she died obviously* - and yet everyone thinks that it was Stannah Stair Lifts that she was wittering on about.

Same must be true for the folks at Sandbar Composites, 4 Lester Close, Twyford, Banbury, Oxon, OX17 3LH (01295 812792) because it was their flyer in Pronto not Streamlines.

Prices look OK until you realise that they're before the dreaded VAT. Examples £92.65 for a front mudguard, £105.38 for a hugger - both for a 916 type of bike.

Yes - I noticed this too. I didn't think they were that cheap, even without the VAT!

I'd noticed that they were'nt that cheap, that's one of the reasons for asking if anybody had actually bought/fitted any of their stuff,no replies on that yet!!

Perhaps they're way too expensive?
