Painting screen
What is the best way to get the bottom part of my screen painted, so that the clocks are hidden. As the race bikes seem to have

Get some sticky vinyl sheet from your local sign writers or vehivle graphics producers and use that. You don't need much and it should be less than a quid.

That way you can peel it off when you either get it wrong or decide you no longer like it.

I thought about this but could be a little tacky. has anybody done it, if so is it better inside the screen or outside?

I've got this and it looks fine, but as antonye says, if you don't like it just take it off!

Take the screen off so you can stick it all the way to the bottom - that way it'll go under your fairing when you put the screen back on.
