what a bummer, just imagine, hot weekend, all sorts of plans of places to go like brands etc, got your shiney new zx10 in the garage, and you can`t ride it......i would be really pi55ed off....... luckily my shiney not so new 748 is raring to go !

gotta say full marks to Kawasaki in confessin'.
No doubt there's a bit of hari kari being contemplated somewhere.
Now, if they had a problem with the oil cooler that was liable to spill it's guts onto the back wheel, thereby giving rise to a very serious sequence of events probably leading to major accident - would they have taken the same major "DO NOT RIDE" steps?

Apparently there's a shortage of front wheels too, as it's a brand new light-weight design that they've now got to sort!

Doesn't look like anyone is going to be riding their ZX10R for a few months as yet!!
