Anglia TV spot
Just saw the Anglia TV piece on the higher number of deaths on Essex roads this year. They focused on born again bikers and sports bikes.

Not as biased as a lot of other TV pieces, they did mention Bike Safe and training. But it did give the impression that Essex police were focused on both training and enforcement.

Strangly it did not mention that Essex does not offer Bike Safe training

At least they did not trot out the usual collection of idiots. The bikers they interviewed came across fairly well

I did mention to Diane on the phone that Essex Police had cancelled the Bike Safe (previously "Responsible Rider") this year due to lack of funding.

It seems that the safety of motorcyclists obviously isn't that high up the priorities ladder in the county!

Nice to see plenty of Ducatis in the footage though
