Dzus Fasteners
Anyone know of a source for fairing Dzus fasteners in stainless or good chrome ? I'm using alloy ones from Buster's but find the slots in the male part get chewed by the teeth in the backplate. Once the fairings been on & off a few times they get decidedly ropey.
Looked at the ones on Ducati shed site but they're nickel which I always thought was a bit soft.

Robbie,

The fasteners that Kelvin at Ducati Shed sells are genuine Ducati OEM fasteners. FYI, they are nickel plated, not solid nickel.

If you want to spend a bit more (well a lot more actually!) Pro Bolt do them in Titanium @ £19.99 each!!!!!!!

There's a guy on eBay that sells nickel or black genuine Dzus - I bought some off him and they're pretty good...

I've used Carbon Trader before, I replaced the tatty Termi stickers on my cans with a new set from them.

And I just ordered a new set of fasteners, £28... Billy Bargain that is, although I don't actually need them.

I go and see my mate Gary and get them, it does help that he works here

Raceparts (UK) Ltd are the sole motor sport distributors of Dzus Fasteners for the UK. One of the best known names in the world for quick release fasteners.

Had a chat with Gary at Carbon Trader today when I ordered my Dzu fasteners. Told him all about DSC, its 600 hundred-odd members, advertising on the DSC website, our links to Ducati and various dealers/suppliers/traders (and also about the 10% discounts DSC members ought to be getting!).

If I've somehow blagged a discount in future for DSC members, do I get a DSC T-shirt as a reward?
