What defines a Supercar?
Serious question?

What laws define`s a supercar?

what is the difference in emissions/ noise rules,between a Ford mondeo and a TVR Tuscan?

Why can "Super" car (TVR,Ferrari,Lamboghini) makers get away with noise levels of over 74d, when other manufacturer`s have to play ball and keep below 74d?

If there is a difference in legal exception allowing supercars to be designed and built louder, should`nt those same laws be applied to superbikes?

Common sense, surely

So I`m just wondering if anyone can shed light on what rules Supercar makers have to work by?

Mike Mercury was the test pilot of SUPERCAR, one of the very first Gerry Andersen kids programmes from the 60's. Which of course you'll be far too young to remember, and i can only just remember
