What lines are you using with your oil cooler?

Hi there,

I'm seriously thinking about getting an oil cooler for my DD bike. I won't be able to win a race without one.

No the thing is, my oil pressure warning light keeps flashing at the end of the races, and I don't really like that. Changing the engine is not in my budget So I'm thinking about fitting an oil cooler to the bike. If finding the cooler doesn't worry me too much (I'm sure any oil cooler would do the job) it's quite another story for the oil lines. I need them to fit the bike, and the oil cooler. It will work better.

So what kind of hoses will be suitable? My DD bike is fitted with the carb heating kit (as all Monster post 98 or 99 are...), can I just open the oil circuit at that place? I've got unused braided brakes liens, do you think they could do the job? I think that's what is used for the carb heating kit...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Tonio.
