Scrap heap challenge

Hi,

Does anyone have a spare 600ss tank or any ss tank if they are all the same size? I want see if it will fit my monster I then want to see if an SS race seat unit will fit it to. It would be very nice to try before I buy type thing.

I live in Ruislip, Middlesex hopefully you are not too far away but obviously I am willing to travel

Many thanks

No they don't fit!

I think it was Paul Payne that tried this but the other way round?

Reason being are that the frames are very different - I think the Monster and the ST share the same frame, but the SS is completely different.

Thanks for that - just from looking at them from the side the trellis does look different.
That's that one scuppered then. I don't much like the riding position of the monster which is why I wanted to experiment. Maybe I can do something with the back end.

Maybe play with the seat height or the ride height or both? Is it just the position that you don't like as you should be able to change the pegs and bars to get comfortable - I think lots of the DD guys have done this.

I am trying to get higher and further back in the seat but my present set up throws me forward and low - kind of 4 o clock position.
When you mention pegs and bars are you talking clip ons? I think you are right might have to see how I can raise the actual seat height
