Does this look like a scam...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

Seller has no history. No bike details, payment by bank transfer, US spec bike, the one sentence he writes has a spelling mistake in it and is grammatically incorrect. Someone else with no history bidding it up.
Nice.

Yep, it is.

Any description that includes a line like "[The 999] has best functionality of all his parts" has got to be.

It's also typical that the description will just be generic waffle or technical specs about the 999 (sometimes cut and pasted straight from ducati.com) rather than any specific information about the bike in question.

Hopefully a bidder like scam_auction will be along in a minute to flag it up.

Also odd is that the seller claims to be in London but the bike shown is obviously US spec , reflectors on the front mudguard

I have sent the following question to the seller " Would it be possible for me to view the bike before bidding? London is no problem for me. which area are you in?" It will be interesting to see what (if any) reply I receive

Ditto.

Or we could simply log on to E-Bay and over bid the thing
