Q registration - any advice? I know that a 'bitza' type bike (or a stolen/rebuild of some kind) is often given a Q plate, but I'm told that an imported bike with an indeterminate year of registration will also be given a Q plate when brought to the UK. And if its year of original registration can't be proven with documentary evidence, the Q plate can't ever be changed. Now I'd usually steer clear of Q plated bikes, but if it's only been fitted because it's an import, should it really be enough to put me off buying? Anyone give any advice? Cheers Steve |
