Skids:-A Huge Thankyou

As some of the DD contingency will be aware, I've suffered from some engine bogging down since I put the bike together for the start of the season. It manifested itself in various forms at different tracks and weather conditions.

The bike has been on 4 different dyno's with me explaining the problem and showing video and sound evidence from an onboard camera.

But all I got was a lighter pocket and a chart and still this prob that can't be replicated on a dyno.

So on Friday test day approaching the last session I was running my tale of woe past the fountain of all knowledge regarding Ducati AKA Kev Ellis.

He suddenly had a Eureka moment and said "is the accelerator pump facility turned on in the power commander". I connected the laptop and looked, it was, also had a setting attached. Once this gizmo has been activated it doesn't appear easy to get it greyed out, or deactivate it, so I just put the settings to zero.

Transformation was like night and day, I felt competitive in some good racing company. So much so that a 4th was had on the Saturday race.

So once again thanks for the heads up Kev and hope I can return a favour sometime.
