desmoduer\'s.......so, where now in the series?

ok, so first meeting is done and after all the bluffing, bragging, and bullsihtnig we all know (most) of the opposition and their ability/or lack of.

so what are you looking for next outing? mine will be snetterton unfortunately but what are you looking to get from castle coombe?

for me , after finishing both races (my initial aim) in 19th and 18th places it is clearly to move up the pack. my qualifying; and resulting grid postion and start; hampered me in the race where i feel i should have been battling it out a few places higher up. snetterton (my next outing) may suit me better than the woodland circuit anyway but i will be looking for a top 15 finish.

its a good question .!..after an 7th and 8th finish...im not sure where i can go from here.......i will be down on straight line power for castle coombe so im hoping to get top 15, ideally i would like top 12.

but first i got to put the bike back together.lol

This is still a difficult question to answer. With a DNS (yes, officially I was classified as DNS!) and an 8th place after qualifying 8th I was happy.

There's a few people I expect to be moving up and getting on the pace, such as Tim and Domski (fastest lap before binning in the first race was in the 50's) and the bigger circuits will suit the 620's better, provided you have the ability/genitalia to use it. I'm hoping to stay in the top ten for the rest of the races and maybe sneak a top 5 or two?

Top ten in the championship at the end?

We'll have to see how we go, (here come the cliche's) but there's plenty of time and races between now and the last race so lots of things could happen.

My ickle 583 is going to suffer at Castle Combe & Snetterton even with the brakes sorted, I still hope to one of the fastest 583s out there and to be putting among some of the 620/674 brigade.
3 DNFs looks awful but times in the mids 52s considering the amount of laps I did all weekend isn't to shabby

I'm hardly going to be anywhere noteworthy but i'm quite happy to play with whoever is fighting me for last place . I'd hope to be quicker eventually but i'm happy to be taking my 583 on the track and giving it a go.
I'll need an alarm clock so CK tells me to wake me up at the end of the straight at Snetts.

I'm not sure where I can go from here. 7th/6th at cadwell with zero race experience was about as good as it could get.

I found I was just about able to keep up with Andy (on AK's bike) for a lap and an arf in race 2, but was riding quicker than I was capable of to keep up let alone get past! So I backed off and settled for the same again (+1 because one of the leaders went down).

This is new territory for me... at cadwell I found I was riding so much quicker than I've done on any trackday, so I guess I should aim to learn how quick I can REALLY go, and learn to maintain the pace I was at when following Andy, and build up from there.

I came into this hoping for a top ten finish, and I'm currently P6 in the championship, so my overall goal hasn't changed. The results will look a bit different for future rounds, so to keep the same people behind me is my target until I'm capable of keeping up with them 6 guys in front!
