Yes, that was an 'interesting' moment running wide out of Coram! I don't know how I stayed on to be honest - more good luck than good management I feel!

oh man, was that you doing the grasstracking TP, we saw the whole thing with equal measures of 'oh my gawd don't touch anything' and 'flipping heck, I think he's still full on the throttle' - oh how we laughed when we saw you were safe.

Tim - saw you on the CBR600RR behind me and guessed you were not going for it as it was not your bike. What do you think then? If you fancy a go on mine, give me a shout - mine has not much in the way of engine mods, but otherwise 'sorted' - I love it.

Well done on your race.

errm ... yes, it was me. I was trying to find a way around someone in Coram and ran it wide. I'd lost too many places with my rubbish start and I didn't want to lose more so I stayed in the throttle.

Definitely a nervous moment!

Thanks Jon - I am very pleased, but with everything you look back and think where you can improve - my race times were 3 secs better than my qualifying - so gotta improve my qualifying!!! Even one sec better would have got me way further up the grid and in a better place to place even better!!

Onwards and upwards.

Tim
