Mood: On the mend!
More Drama

My mate on his RSVR and I went to Paignton bike night this evening. As we are queued up my mates bike starts to pour water onto the floor. We park up and I'm thinking at least he's got recovery.

Then I look at mine and green coloured water is pouring over my front tyre! Much worse then the Aprilia. I don't have recovery so I'm hot, sticky and worried. It's 65 miles from home.

We investigate both bikes and decide the Aprilia appears just to be the over flow so we're not too worried.

We end up taking my fairing off and decide the same although I'm amazed at how much water was lost and the fact that it pours over your front wheel!

We were only queueing for a few minutes!

We decide to leave and my 999 is absolutely fine.

The Aprilia on the other hand has big problems. The temp rising to 119 after a mile. The fans aren't cutting in and the bike stopping every mile. After about ten stops we get to the motorway and so long as we don't drop below 90 mph the temp is ok. Eventually we get home!

Sorry about the long story but it was a bit hairy for a while.

Anyway any one else suffer from water pouring out from under the fairing so easily and over the front wheel?
