Ooh! Ooh! Minichamps update!

Minichamps have announced they'll be producing the Airwaves Ducatis of Lavilla and Haslam! Won't be out for about 12 months, but I've just ordered them. Added a few others too, so my current order list is now:

'04 Kagayama Rizla Suzuki
'05 Kagayama Alstare Corona Suzuki
'97 Rossi 125
'99 Rossi 250
'03 Capirossi 1st race win Desmoseidici (dirty version)
'60 Manx Norton 500
'05 Lavilla Airwaves Ducati
'05 Haslam Airwaves Ducati

Woohoo!

I take it you already have the BSA Goldstar then-I know that's Pauls Model Art not Minichamps, but then so is the Manx Norton. What about the Sheen Suzuki's-or have you already got those??

Monty - no, I haven't got the BSA. The only collection I have in its entireity is the BSB bikes. All the others are just "bikes I like". I don't have the Sheen bikes as I'm too young to remember them. Same goes for the Manx Norton I guess, but I love the look of old cafe racers.

Pauls Model Art is the same as Minichamps - I think Pauls Model art is the company and Minichamps is the brand or something like that? Same thing anyway.

Baylissboy - I'd love to see the AMA Dukes too, plus a Lanzi Fila. I'd also like the HM Plant Honda Fireblades from BSB and the Hawk Kawasakis.

" I don't have the Sheen bikes as I'm too young to remember them." Put's me in my place then.
Not only am I old enough to remember them, I met Barry Sheen at Croft in 1971, we were doing a national meeting on the Russel Vincent outfit and bazza was there on his 125GP Suzuki twin, he must have been 16 or 17. It was very obvious then that he was pretty special, ran away with the races. Was racing out of the back of an old transit with his dad as support-as you do...........

Sorry John - didn't mean to upset you

I was born in '75, so you can see why it was a bit before my time! I didn't get into bikes until FireBlades and the 916 came out. My first racing interests were the Cadbury's Boost Yamahas in BSB!

Welcome to the "club",but be aware,it WILL become an obsession!!!

Two models now will turn into 10,then 20, then you'll have a house full, then the girlfriend will wish she'd never started you off!!
