Had the afternoon off so decided to go for a blast, assuming the roads would be nice and quiet?

How wrong I was, there was as much traffic as when I drive to work in the mornings. What is everyone doing? Where are they going? Why aren't they at work?

I can only assume they were out to annoy me!

They heard that you had a day off and decided that it was NOT ON, so yes, they were out to anoy you! Personally.


Only yesterday I was out and I thought how busy the roads were. Compared to 30 years ago when I started riding, there is SO MUCH traffic on the roads. It was hard to find palces to overtake, on a bike.
