For me it'll be a massive fry-up with double bacon, sausage, eggs, fried bread, black pudding and beans on the way to the circuit...with as many of Glyn's roll-ups as I can cadge

Followed by a pasty, a couple of pints of Guiness and a couple of hamlet cigars at lunchtime...

Sometimes there are benefits to standing on the sidelines spectating

I'll join you with the fry-ups Jools

Andy J (jockey bike#36) also likes a fry-up before racing, Doug managed to scoff well at both meetings

Just a normal day, bit of toast when I wake up. Snack mid morning and then lunch. Another snack in the afternoon if hungry still. Also drink loads of water

One thing I have found is I get a dry mouth when waiting in the holding area and on the warm up lap, take a pack of mints and have one just as you leave the paddock
