Servicing - Belt change (opinions & cost)

It's now 2.5 years since the belts were changed on my 996, so despite only managing to cover a couple of thousand miles during that time suppose it's time to change the belts.

Which leaves me in a quandary; Do I change them myself or get them changed by a dealer / independent Ducati specialist. (Which really is against my principle of paying other people to do something I can do! Always done my own repairs, rebuilds servicing etc. on all my bikes & cars).

My concern is that by doing them myself might effect saleability of the bike when it comes time to part company, as a Full service history seems to be a must for Ducati's. So in this case would doing them myself be a false economy? or would most 'potential buyers' still regard it ok being fully serviced, but by the owner rather than a dealer/specialist ??

Can anyone recommend places to;
(a) Obtain belts at a 'good' price, and approx. cost ?
(b) Carry out the belt change 'service' for me, and approx. cost? (I'm located Near Oxford)

and Finally
(c) what else should be done during checked / changed during the service? Will be doing an oil & filter change
[the bike is a 2000MY 996, but has so far only cover 4k miles] .

Answers or feedback to any or all my many questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
