Rattler\'s quick Cadwell DD report

OK - DD reports in 2006 format.

Landed Friday, long way, test day, Weather crap, Marquee Up, Bike Stationary, drunk beer. Had curry, good laugh, great company, soft bed, ummmmm.

Watched Saturday, SoT races, TP, Ali, Mke, Chris, Ian, weather good, bike stationary, hindsight - hmmmmmm, steak, chips, cheeky beer, early night, slept well? - fat chance.

Early Sunday, damp track, lap track, qualify ****, big slide, nearly crashed, got round, 17th place - arggggghhhhhhh !!!!!

Pre-check, enough fuel, tyre pressures, visit loo (again), novice vest, dog-tag, drink water, get nervous, find key!!!

Race 1 - dry track, good start, make progress, block pass, wrong gear, brake late, run wide, hang on, stay on, great battle (thanks Ferrari Pete), miss apex, get home, really tired, 8th place - phew!!!

Race 2 - great start, gained places, Coppice wide, miss Domski, touch grass (arghhh), stay on, Charlies 1, Charlies 2, tuck in, Park straight, through box, think brake, don't brake, count 2, see god, brake!!!!, miss apex, on kerb, short shift, chase Dom, press on, hit goose, flick left, crashed here!!!, think positive, down 2, slid rear!!!, oh siht!!, ......... approach chicane, shift hard, drive on, brake late, TP down!!!, damn, miss grass, look forward, push on, ...... over mountain, touch brake, hall drive, hairpin block, hall slide - arghh, back off, press on, over line (X6) - chase Anthony, can't catch, back off, consolidate place, finish race, 9th spot. - Drink beer !!!!! -

Overall - good weekend, not great.

But, great company, awesome Phil, congrats Geoff, unlucky TP, shame Grib, ouch Paul, thanks Karen, Kelly and 4D.

All DD'ers - great racing. All supporters - many thanks.

Onto Brands.......

Have we gone race yet???

Tim

Nice report Timmy.

Didn't realise you were so close to me, you best knock it off a bit next time.

I'll be using 3rd gear at Brands, so watch out!!!

Good to to see you and Mrs Rattler (even if she was a bit fat)

I had a great start and was hoping to pass you on the inside going into Charlies, but you went in tight and i hit the grass. It was the closest I got to you though

Mrs Rattler will lose the weight in six weeks, but as for you, ugliness is permanent!!!

Nice racing bushy.

Thanks mate, not enough beer I reckon

Cadwell is not my favourite track, 8th overall is OK for now.

Good job I can drop my worst results.
