Seat Unit for Monster

Hi,

I am toying with the idea of changing the seat unit to a race R6 unit as i am struggling with the current monster setup...and it seems the cheapest option out there.
Does anyone know what year of R6 unit I would need and in terms of fitting whether I would need to make large modifications. I think the rear part might be ok but wondering about the where the front might attach. Also the units i have seem for sale come with a space for the R6 seat. What alse would i need to do to finish the setup off so that I can lay some foam down for sitting on.

If anyone has some pics that would be very handy too.

Thanks in advance

Franco

As AK ran the R6 seat unit on Mr Snot all last year I'm sure he will be along at some time to enlighten you.
From what I recall it looked just like the seat unit on my 1999 R6

Ok - spoken to Alan and looking 50 - 50 for me at the moment in terms of an R6 seat unit. The other idea i have had is whether the seat unit of a 600ss has the same fitting points as a monster seat?

Can anyone confirm this at all?

Thanks

Franco
