Post The first road-going single-cylinder Supermotard by Ducati

The first road-going single-cylinder Supermotard by Ducati

The new Hypermotard 698 Mono adopts technical solutions derived from the world of the Panigale for the engine, electronics, and chassis.
The result is a Supermotard with great agility and sports-like precision in handling, equipped with the most powerful single-cylinder engine in the world, the Superquadro Mono.
A true 'fun bike' with racing DNA.

The Hypermotard 698 Mono is equipped with the new 659cc Superquadro Mono engine featuring desmodromic distribution, derived from the twin-cylinder engine of the Panigale. It is the most sophisticated and high-performance road-going single-cylinder engine ever created, capable of reaching the maximum power at the rotation speeds of its category (77.5 HP, which almost become 85 HP with the racing exhaust, and a limiter set at 10,250 RPM).

A style that doesn't go unnoticed

Essentiality, lightness, and aggression. These are the elements of the motard style. With the Hypermotard 698 Mono, we wanted to combine them with the clean lines and meticulous surface treatment typical of Ducati design.

New Superquadro Mono

The heart of the new Hypermotard 698 Mono is called Superquadro Mono, and it is the most powerful road-going single-cylinder engine with a rotation speed never before achieved in this category.

Wear the Hype

Discover the dedicated capsule collection and embrace the aggressive look for those with a bold personality. And if you want to make your bike even more unique, choose Ducati Performance accessories like the Termignoni racing exhaust, racing saddle, and motard footrests.

Mood: I like my bike
KTM 390 but better?

Isn't this the first single cylinder since the Supermono?
Looks pretty sexy.
