One disc short of a pair

whoops

It appears my right hand brake disc is a tad warped. Seeing as I am down at Brands on Saturday I need to do something sharpish. Being a bit tight cash wise and limited mechanical skills the easiest safe solutuion is best currently. Apologies in advance for the numpty questions but

I am assuming that removing the offending disc, caliper and hose will make it very sharp on the brakes? This was my first choice if its not too harsh.

Can I remove the offending disk, caliper and hose, and fit 16 mm master cylinder reasonably easily? If I pick up a lever and reervoir will there be markings as to the size? How do I find out the size? I have a couple that I culd try but knowing my luck they wont be any better.

If I can find a replacement disc, how do I know its the right one? Are there different diameter discs, different hole patterns etc?

Does it matter if I get a left hand disc? (no s******ing at the back)

Thanks in advance for your wise words!

Mark
Current guess on the disc is a late monster disk and its a big round disc thing with no carrier (I think).
