Mallory, a few lessons learned

1) test days are worth it

2) there are always spare parts when you need them - thanks Mark and Graham for the electrical bits which allowed me to race

3) these tyres are ace!!

4) its fun quallifying in the top 4

5) great advice leads to great laps (cheers Steve)

6) if you are going to jump start, keep going dont back off then wheelie and back off again so you can be about 20th into the first corner!! , you get penalised 10 seconds and lose a place anyway so may as well not lose all the timefighting back thru the firled in the first two laps!! oh and dont for the first time in 2 years forget you are race shift and go 1st to 1st!!

7) brake fade is not what they call no pads!!

8) one disc IS enough awesome

9) I need to practice my starts!!

10) I CAN GET MY KNEE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

left and right thru edwinas...like buses; you spend years waiting then several come along at once

cheers for the banter as always, good to see all my mates improving

in hindsight, looking behind with about 6 laps to go as I was at the bridge and seeing an empty track behind me, then for the remainder of the laps just having fun scraping my knee on the ground singing 'I can get my knee down, I can get my knee down' in my lid and trying the same at the hairpin probably wasnt the best decision either....but it was huge fun

I'd love to find a pic of me thru the hairpin towards the end; felt like my toe shin and knee and my thigh at one point! were down and the bike on its side thru there
