Front Disc

Anyone got a front disc that they wish to part with. I have to balast my lightweight.........ish bike up a couple of Kg, so a caliper and disc will be just on the mark of minimum weight.

I have the caliper just the disc I require.

given rotational mass, unsprung weight blah blah blah wouldnt you be better adding ballast low in the centre? Heavy belly pan, something like that?

Kev the one I have on at present is from a (TZ 250). But anything would do its a race bike so I'm not after aesthetics.

Ironic thing is I gave one to my brother to put on a 600ss to convert to twin discs on a bike he was selling last month.

That small amount of mass Paul will make 3/5th's of f@<>all difference and just provide a little bit more Woah for Pembrey hairpin.

Phil; if you need a disc I have a solocorse one spare ( its a bit warped). You could run it with no caliper and achieve the required weight then.

Cheers Mike, at snet I used a caliper and no disc and a spare chain under the seat. But I'll take Chaz up on his offer.
