Hi does anyone know if the engine from a 749 will fit into the frame of a 748

I think it will fit the frame, the problem that you will have to do some modding to fit the 748 exhaust, maybe the airbox and so on.

and the 748 swing arm mount is different.

I thought the 748 swing arm has bigger bearings in the crankcases?

The bearings are in the swing arm i think
