Used Dunlop GP Racers at Portimao and they were superb

They were on an R6 with a 190 55 rear

Tried it on the pirelli Sc's with a 180 55

and it felt better on the dunlops but I think it had a lot...

I'm sure your right - I think it's always been like that with the R's - lots of small tweaks & mods - that create a much better bike - I know Motorapido said that you can really tell the difference...

So I think a 998s should be okay with that.....

Not that much difference in power, a bit more torque
