Did a few with Speadfreaks and was always good. Agree with all that's been said about Whitham being a good guy. Never had to test their refund policy, though. May not be the best for a first timer.

If it's a standard motor it will be a metal base gasket. If you need to replace the gasket, you'll need to obviouly take the head, cylinder, etc off.

The clutch cover gasket is only a spacer really....

The clutch cover gasket is only a spacer really. No oil should be on the inside either. Might have the o-rings but unlikely the seal. Do you need to pull the clutch side engine cover?
