I'm not a happy bunny. My insurance was set to run until mid September but as I can now be included on my boss's traders policy I've cancelled it.
Although I paid the policy in full from the outset, I've just had a letter telling me
I owe them £16.32. Can't be right I thought. So I've just phoned them to question it. Apparently I'm owed about £8 back in refund but they charge £25 cancellation fee. Wish I'd known. I'd have left the policy to continue, it wasn't costing me anything, but they won't re-instate it now.
I've had a look through the paperwork I've got left (I returned my certificate of insurance naturally) and I can't find anything about a cancellation fee. Anyone else been there, done that?
