Best thing about our series is it is a DSC club series - facilitated by New Era - so we get to do and be different to the other clubs.
Yes we should respect each other, that's what makes DSC rideouts and DD racing as enjoyable as it is. I had a number of opportunities to make HARD / Challenging moves on Phil in our race at Cadwell and chose not to because he's a mate, I don't want to have him or me off and ruin our race and season of enjoyment, if that makes me less of a racer then fine, I'm happy and will stick to DD.
I wouldn't race in any other class or series as I don't have aspirations or expectations above my ability, or would want to test them in another 600 class. What would I be proving and to whom??
We can and do choose to do things differently, Assen, that other clubs don't/can't do.
It's not about the racing.....
