| Here's a thing about huggers. On the 748 (can't comment on the 9**), if you run the stock gearing, the hugger runs *very* close to the tyre. This can result in the tyre wearing a hole in the hugger. Look around at Dukes you see, and this not uncommon. Running a bigger rear sprocket, and a slightly longer chain, moves the tyre well clear of the hugger. Someone will be along shortly to tell you that this changes the geometry of the bike, and the ride height should be re-set, no doubt...  But it's true about the hugger. Just thought it was worth mentioning. | |
