I've just changed from SS to ST in my bike. I used the ST internals with my SS springs, just with the preload spacers 40mm shorter in total.
Everything seems to have set up fine but I wont know for sure until Brands....

Yes my ss forks where 45mm above the yoke.

40mm is standard i think plus i dropped them 5mm to sharpen it up.

The ST forks seem perfect .. it's as if ducati knew.

Forks, are they the boingy tube things with a wheel at the end?

In your case mate they are the pointy sharp things with sausages on the end
