Not been on here for awhile as I haven't been riding due to divorce and personal circumstances. 2nd journey out today and I've put the 1098 down the road. I need lots of parts but to get her running I need a clutch hub as the cover has bent in and snapped off a stud. Is this part available without buying a complete new clutch? Thanks
hi colin, sorry to here about your off. hope you are ok. I have a workshop manual and parts list on my computer. they show the cultch hub as a separate part , that is assuming you have a standard clutch and not a slipper clutch witch may not be the same. I brought a hub for my 916 some years ogo after I droped it ,and I think I payed about £50.hope all goes well. pete
Thanks Pete. I'm OK thanks, the Alpinstars I bought at the show did the job. It could have been a lot worse. If anyone has a RHS handle bar it would be good.
Sorry to hear mate, hope you get it fixed, will keeps my eyes open for bits. I have some odds and sods lying about, have you got a list of parts you need?
