I have art race cans low level on my monster. They have been fantastic and the bike likes them as along with the dynojet and open air box it can breathe freely.
You are right - it is the first thing to hit ground - but take a monster and lean it over at a standstill- I think most would be surprised just how far it goes over before the cans hit the deck.
However add the weight of a rider and rensports then high levels are a must for the faster riders.
