Make sure you use your seat though as this takes all the weight onto the subframe. If you rely on the front and rear fixing points of the trackday unit coupled up with only a foam seat pad you will put too much stress onto the front fixings for sure!

You may also find that with your seat cut into the new unit the rear bracket may not fit and locate in the catch. This is common and I have had some brackets made up which use the existing rubbers and raise the rear so it all fits snugly.

There was a thread about this some time ago and I posted some pictures of the brackets which sadly got wiped off the PC so I'll try and find it or take another picture.
