| Thanks for the response so far, I was under the impression that the standard filters in the air tubes were the best option. I have read several threads on this including Shazams. When I had my 853 conversion done by sigma. I was informed that the better option would be the standard type filters in the air tubes. I have already removed the mesh from the front intake holes in the fairing. And I have smeared vasoline ( Ohh eeerrrr! ) on the rubber seal on the air box so that it sort of sticks to the underside of the petrol tank. This seems to work ok. I seem to get quite an induction roar when I am giving it the berries. But then that may be something to do with the 853 conversion? I was only after a bit of bling in carbon, you know what I mean. For the bike that is but If its gonna mean changing air filters and all that jazz then I may leave well alone. The thing is I had an under take air filter from ITG but have since ditched it. DC.   |
