Re: First priority - having suspension work done.

One of the things I was most happy to find when I got my first 996s was the high quality of the stock suspension compared to my previous blade and TL1000S (yes, yes, I know.......

Likewise on my 998Bip, the stock Showa forks and Ohlins rear give a good range of effective adjustment and I wouldn't say that reworking of the components is a major priority. Using standard adjustments I have got it set up so that I can scuttle around the track at a fair old lick without getting seasick.

That said, once my credit situation has recovered from the decimation it experienced last winter, I will probably be sending the forks off to K-Tech, to work their magic (they did my TL which really DID need their help).

So to sum up, I still reckon my list of favourites is OK, but maybe some suspension work next.

Anyway, Good Heavens Man, where's the bling in a tiny little K-Tech sticker.
