I have been riding my old 916 for the same reason although my legs are getting very hot, on the 998 it is unbearable in traffic my right thigh was branded where the seam of the trousers had burnt me! with no airflow to cool the exhaust pipes the area on the right hand side gets very hot indeed. I wont complain in 3 months we will all be moaning about the cold wet weather avoid traffic and enjoy
