First Post and first Ducati (05 - 749S) - at 60 I should have made the move earlier but there you go – leave the best to last!
I have suffered the same stalling and have to admit to dumping it on the first day of ownership at 2 mph – was I ****** off – brake lever, mirror and the mirror mount, rear brake lever and a minor scratch on the rhs – could have been worse. Having ridden twins for many years (German) it all came as a shock but making it richer has sorted it out.
I am also a shorty – I am sure I was taller when I was younger – and found the same issue as ‘fab’ with the side stand. I have made a modification to make it easier to extend it while on the bike but to try explaining would not provide the detail.
If someone could advise if it is possible to post / attach jpg’s then I will share my mods with the group.
Great message board with lots of interesting people and information.

Mood: Ride with me, Ground Shaking comes as standard..
Hey landatec, seems a good idea re the sideside, im getting tired of jumping off whilst holding on then geting the stand down. Might have to give that idea a try this weekend.
if im not too busy riding that is
