andy, im very much with you on this but i can see the value in having a 583 only class to encourage people into a series very cheaply and where they can maybe pick up some recognition for their acheivements on the way.

for me, if i come 20th in a race, i come 20th in a race regardless of how many classes, guest riders, non points scorers etc there are.
