| Welcome duc daz! After my first Ducati (a 748SP),I decided to go for something a little newer.Although I was really happy with my SP,I just wanted to try what,at the time,was the latest in the way of Japanese fours (a '98 R1). Although I couldn't deny it was a quick bike,I found it TOTALLY souless and with ZERO character.So,within a few months,I was back on a Ducati (748 SPS this time).Immediately,I knew I'd made the right choice to return to the Italian way.... Although ownership of a GSXR750 (that was bought for trackdays) also featured,nothing has ever tempted me back to Jap fours.Sure they are quick,but isn't there more to it than that?
