Cricket ??????????

OK, so winning the Ashes back is something special. But I don't believe they are comparing it to the Rugby World cup victory. Some are even saying it's better It took them long enough

Firstly, so I believe, the Ashes is between JUST 2 teams. The rugby World cup consisted of what, 32.

We (rugby) could have still won even if it rained. In fact we did.

A couple of orange segments will do at half time for rugby players. Not cucumber butties and tea, and for what. So they can stand around scratching their no-nads for a couple of hours

HELLLLO. Is this PC (post cricket) gone mad.

The only thing you crickerting Ducatisti have right is you choice of bike. Get a life

Love Cricket, Love Rugby, Love Ducatis, so that gives me a head start in the 'get a life' stakes.

I'm interested in loads of other stuff as well. Composing, playing and recording music, Karate, Women and Beer (actually I should've put thos nearer the top) so I hope I'm not a shallow person, I'd like to think I was well rounded.

:"You certainly are well rounded Jools, in fact some would say you're a fat bastid"

How the hell did you find time to get 3694 posts out then. You obviously have no kids. In fact, you can't even have time for a sex life to get the kids

personally as long as we are beating aussies who gives a fly duck it could be tiddly winks. Cricket just happens to be my thing and if it gets the boost and interest that English Rugby did after winning the worldcup great. Lets hope England (and wales) cricket doesnt go off the boil as quick as the Rugby team did, unlikely I suppose as its main players are in their priome not at the end of their careers as were som many of the Rugby boys.

Lets celebrate and have a good time.

yep, got kids...no problems on that score

3694 posts is easy to find time for...works out to an average of about 3 posts a day in the three and a half years I've been posting.

Apparently, according to the stats, today's top poster is currently...Crunchy...with 31 posts today

Bob, you've obviously not been to a test match...

I was at the Oval yesterday and it was a fantastic atmosphere...a great game - full of tension. Me and the missus were next to a couple of builders who had just bought the tickets and were coming up to sell them to make a few bob, when they got there they thought 'oh sod it lets go in' and they really enjoyed it, they didn't have a clue what was going on - they just got slowly ratted and sung football and rugby songs all day...

The Aussies in the crowd and the players were gettting slaughtered and giving it back...especially Tait (who kept falling over), Mcgrath who said they'd win 5-0 - and kept getting this thrown back at him and Warne who had the '...you've dropped the Ashes...' sung to him for hours.

I tipped a can of Stella into the bag of some bloke in front of me (I was a bit worse for the weather) and there was no prob, apologies etc...anywhere else and we'd be swapping fists. Nearly everyone was out of their boxes, it was a great 10hour party... it was nice to celebrate something positive for a change, as mentioned earlier always good to get one over the Aussies.

Rugby - go backwards to go forwards - what's all that about...never understood that game.

P.S. - Crunchy - they have the Cricket world cup as well.
