It based on points.
So if the 620 champion ends the year on 300 points, and a 583 champion ends on 320 points, then the 583 champion is the OVERALL winner of the trophy.
Both are champions, but only one gets the main trophy.
It will be equally hard to win each championship, so why only give the 620 riders the chance to win the 'title'.
Everyone has something to race for.
