THIS WAS NOT MY IDEA EVERYONE!!!

It's in the rules - which obviously nobody has read!!

I just think it's a good idea.

Which rule says everyone has to disagree with anything I say?

It will be equally hard to win each championship, so why only give the 620 riders the chance to win the 'title'.

So it means the same riders will race in both classes???? Don't you want to think again about what you wrote Dom?

Stop being French Antoine

What I said was perfectly clear.

You have TWO Championships.

You have TWO Champions.

...but the highest points scorer wins the OVERALL title/cup.

A lot of clubs run this format for an OVERALL club champion - taking in to account every championship, powerbikes, 600, 400, 125, sidecars etc.

All are individual champions, but you can only have ONE overall club champion - or none at all I suppose.

I give up

If it's in the rules, finally why not. Yeah it can be fun.

I think the logical way would be to pick him (her) up in the fastest bikes class... Anyway I can't stop to be French cause I love it

And you can you stop to be Dom?? Huh??

(and when I said same riders in both classes that was an extrapolation (he he...) of you saying that it will be equally hard to win one or another championship which is tooooooootally wrong )

Who says that the 620 Champion deserves to be the overall champion?

Because they have £3000 more to spend on a bike?

What if someone wins every race by 20 seconds? Are they more deserving or did they have it easy?

What if the 583 series is a 8-way battle and harder than the 620 series.

Basically how can anyone say what will happen and who deserves what more - coz nobody knows!

It will only affect 2 people anyway, and that counts about 50 of us out.

I'm sure Geoff won't mind if I win the overall title by riding in the 583 class

How dare you make me get an English dictionary out!!!

Why will the 583 class be easier to win?

I didn't say easier. It may be the opposite. My opinion is because you won't have the same riders in both classes, one of the 2 classes may be easier to win than the other one.

That's true. I agree.

So why make the 620 Champion the overall DD Champion?

It could be easy to win that.

Actually I don't see any reason to have an overall champion. For me you brought the idea (actually the rules...) but I don't need an overall champion. I think 2 champions for 2 classes are fairer.
