Ah the garage said they had to adjust/check the valves on the first service, so this could be why the tickover went back to being low. It does tickover at about 2000rpm when cold but as soon as it's warm it goes down to about 1200rpm. It only cuts out about once every other ride, I suppose if nothing else goes wrong I learn to live with it as it's such an awsome bike. It's bog standard by the way and it hasn't even got an alarm thats whats so annoying.
